ROUTE MARKERS |
 |
|
It provides a choice between two tasks each with its pros and cons. Teams must finish one of the two tasks before moving on. Sometimes, a detour has a limit number of spots that teams can take part in. |

|
It allows one team to proceed directly to the pit stop. Teams can claim their fast forward by completing the task on the forward clue. But, only the first team to finish the task may claim the fast forward. |
|
 |
|
When teams come to a Merge, teams must join forces and work together as a new unit. Teams may only merge with other teams based on mutual agreement. If there is no other team available, teams must stop racing and wait until the next available team to show up. |
|
 |
|
This is a challenge that only one team member may perform. Teams must decide who is doing the task based on the given information before revealing the entire clue. Once the decision is made, teams may not switch the member who is performing this task until the task is completed. |
|
 |
|
When teams come to a Roundabout, teams must go to all listed locations. Once there, they will receive a partial clue and must gather all pieces to solve it. |
|
 |
|
It indicates locations that teams must visit. The information may come in various format. Also, teams must follow the instruction to use the proper travel method to get there. |
|
 |
|
This device will only appear at a detour. It allows one team to U-Turn any other team that is racing behind them and force this team to perform both detour options. |
|
 |
|
It allows one team to stop any other team that is racing behind them for an amount of time. The team that is being yielded must turn the hourglass upside down and wait until the sand to run out. |

RULES AND REGULATIONS |
ASSISTANCE |
|
 |
Teams are allowed to bring one map book to help them navigate. However, teams are not allowed to bring or use any types of electronic navigational devices during the race. |
BACKPACKS |
Teams must carry their backpacks while racing. In the backpack, only a limited amount of items can one bring to the race such as beverages, food, extra clothing, and personal identification. |
CLUES |
Clues are in sealed envelopes. Each team can only retrieve one envelope from the clue box. |
PIT STOP |
Here allows teams to rest and mingle with other teams. After a predetermined amount of time, teams will depart from here for the next leg of the race in the order they check in. |
RACE MONEY |
Teams are allowed to spend their own money and decide what type of transportation they want to rely on in order to advance themselves during the race. However, teams must and may only travel based on the indication in any given clue. |
ROUTE MARKERS |
The yellow and red route markers indicate locations along the racecourse that teams must visit. |
TIME PENALTY |
A time penalty is distributed when teams violate any race rules which could affect the outcome of the race. Also, race rules violation and/or any misconduct could affect the eligibility of competing in the championship race. |
TRAVEL |
Teams must follow the instruction on the clues to choose proper traveling method such as on foot, public transportation, paid transportation, and their own vehicles. Teams must follow any traffic laws while racing. Also, team members must travel together at all time and cannot go their separate ways. |

For Public Registration or Group Booking, you must first submit your information online. Then, we will contact you for further information by e-mail in order to complete your registration process. |
| HOW GOOD OF SHAPE DO I NEED TO BE IN? |
The race is designed to be suitable for people in all ages. You don't have to be physically trained to participate. Most of the physical demands are traveling between destinations. Some tasks may be difficult but definitely doable. However, teams will never be asked to enter dangerous locations or to perform hazardous challenges. |
| HOW WELL DO I NEED TO KNOW THE CITY? |

Knowing the city is definitely beneficial.
A team with a good map, a great sense of direction, and a wonderful navigation skill will certainly have an advantage. However, teams are also expected to learn things on a fly. |
| IS THERE ANY RESTRICTION ON THE COMPOSITION OF A TEAM? |
For Public Registration, teams must consist of two people with pre-existing or existing relationship, such as friends, co-workers, dating couples, family members, domestic partners etc. That means, you must register with a teammate. On the other hand, for Group Booking, it is not necessary but your group will be advised into teams of two or four. |
| DOES THE AMAZING HUNT CHOOSE PARTICIPANTS? |
| No. We accept your registration in a first come first serve basis. So, register early is critical. |
| CAN YOU LET US KNOW WHAT KIND OF TASKS WE WILL BE DOING IN THE RACE? |
Due to all fairness and production reasons, The Amazing Hunt cannot provide you any detail information that are related to the race. However, you can get some ideas about what kind of tasks past racers have experienced in our photos and video footages. |
| WHAT KIND OF ATTIRE IS THE MOST SUITABLE FOR DOING THE RACE? |
| The Amazing Hunt suggests all participants to wear something sporty and fit. Please wear runners and do not wear sandals or anything with heels for safety reason. |
